Job Summary

Own the SEO function for an expanding e commerce site by shaping strategy across product, category and key pages while building links, managing technical health, and leveraging AI tools to scale quality output.

  • Growth ownership: end to end SEO program and site-wide internal linking
  • Technical and content optimization: audits, page speed, indexation, redirects, and GEO evolution
  • Measurement and tooling: monthly rankings/traffic reporting using GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs, plus AI-generated content review

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategy across all areas
  • Optimise product pages, category pages, and high-converting pages for SEO and conversions
  • Use data insights to identify underperforming pages and optimisation opportunities
  • Build backlink profile and manage PR opportunities
  • Develop and execute site-wide internal linking strategies
  • Run technical audits and implement fixes
  • Stay current with SEO evolution (including emerging areas like GEO)
  • Track and report monthly on rankings, traffic, and growth
  • Use our AI systems to scale your output (we'll train you)
  • Review and refine AI-generated content for quality

Requirements

  • Proven track record of SEO success (ideally in e-commerce)
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO
  • Solid grasp of technical SEO (site speed, indexation, redirects, etc)
  • Experience with link building and understanding of domain authority
  • Know what ranks in 2026 and stay current with algorithm updates
  • Comfortable with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs
  • Self-motivated, organised, confident, working independently
  • Open-minded about using AI tools
  • Want complete ownership of the SEO function
  • Comfortable learning new technology

Preferred

  • E-commerce platform experience
  • Email marketing experience
  • PPC/paid ads experience
  • Basic HTML knowledge (comfortable editing meta tags, structured data, and on-page elements)
