Senior PL/SQL Performance Enhancement Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior PL/SQL Performance Enhancement Developer for a Contract role in Omaha, NE supporting advanced performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting across enterprise database systems. This senior‑level role requires deep experience in PL/SQL, execution plan analysis, dependency review, and collaboration with DBAs and technical teams to drive continuous performance improvements. Rate Range: $49.24/hour to $53.03/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Senior PL/SQL Performance Developer Job Responsibilities Include Delivering advanced PL/SQL development, tuning, and optimization for high‑volume enterprise applications Performing complex dependency analysis, execution plan evaluation, and performance diagnostics Handling exception management, deployment scripting, documentation, and enhancement review Collaborating closely with DBAs, offshore teams, and client stakeholders to drive performance initiatives Supporting iterative improvement cycles, performance reporting, and root‑cause analysis Providing expert‑level troubleshooting, monitoring support, and improvements across SQL procedures, packages, and database objects Desired Qualifications 10+ years of hands‑on PL/SQL development experience Strong expertise in database performance tuning, optimization, and query plan analysis Experience using monitoring tools and performance dashboards Proficiency in automation, scripting, and performance review documentation Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders Strong leadership traits with experience managing iterative improvement processes Skills: PL/SQL, Database Optimization & Tuning, Performance Engineering If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
