Job Summary

Coordinate and execute multi-channel public campaigns that tell Derbyshire residents’ stories, blending creativity with digital-first assets across press, video, audio, and social to engage communities and stakeholders.

  • Campaign delivery: manage multiple campaigns across channels, shaping content from concept to delivery.
  • Storytelling & assets: support design, video, audio, and photography to bring resident stories to life and optimise digital-first creative assets.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The position includes supporting our service areas to deliver engaging campaigns that support the Council Plan, coordinating content across multiple channels including digital and press.
  • Working closely with our senior leaders, this is a hands-on roles that blend creativity with wide range of communications channels to deliver effective campaigns to engage the public, colleagues and stakeholders with the work of Derbyshire County Council.
  • Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and coordinate content across varied channels.
  • Be passionate about telling the stories of our residents and colleagues.
  • Have great digital skills, confident with recording and editing video, audio and photography or have an interest in digital communications with a desire to grow skills across digital media.
  • Be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in an evolving environment.
  • Understand basic design principles and be comfortable supporting colleagues to shape and optimise digital first creative assets.
  • Show initiative and a practical approach to problem-solving and campaign execution.
  • Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
