Job Summary

Own rapid analysis and monitoring of campaigns and public narratives about London, synthesizing multiple data sources to brief senior leaders and drive KPI-driven improvements across stratcoms.

  • Growth Infrastructure: Build and maintain dashboards that track campaign performance and narrative shifts.
  • Stakeholder Narrative: Synthesize insights from multiple sources to brief senior decision-makers on London’s communications landscape.
  • Campaign & Narrative Evaluation: Define KPIs with campaign leads and deliver actionable recommendations for future campaigns.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities include providing rapid analysis following key events, as well as ongoing monitoring and evaluation of both campaigns and external narratives.
  • This role relies on coordinating insight from a combination of measurement and monitoring tools, as well as incorporating feedback and insight from stakeholders, qualitative research and communications best practice.
  • The Senior Communication Analyst will brief senior stakeholders across the GLA, including providing actionable recommendations that are sensitive to the communications and political environment.
  • Building, updating or reviewing automated dashboards to monitor campaigns and communications
  • Using analysis tools to monitor narratives about London
  • Writing briefs for senior stakeholders, combining analysis from multiple platforms and sources to create a complete picture of the communications landscape
  • Presenting findings on new and emerging narratives about London, its leadership, or key policies
  • Contributing to end-of-campaign evaluation reports with measures of effectiveness and recommendations for future work
  • Working with campaign leads to establish KPIs and benchmarks for new campaigns
  • Working closely and collaboratively with stakeholders across the GLA
