How You Will Make An Impact Responsible for creating production schedules using EDI/customer order data and or SAP Responsible for overseeing all production planning activity for the facility Ensure the production schedule supports on-time delivery goals Identify labor, capacity, or material constraints that may adversely affect on-time delivery Adjust resources or schedules as needed to maintain operational efficiency Communicate with Production, Purchasing, Sales and Shipping departments to optimize the production schedule Communicate daily with internal customers on delivery questions, order changes, order tracking, etc. Handling production disruptions and productivity problems Coordinates with plant personnel on planned downtime events Reporting on the production status and any production issues internally Qualifications WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of planning/production scheduling experience or 4+ years’ experience in planning/production scheduling in a manufacturing environment in lieu of a degree Good Experience Microsoft Office Suite tools Strong problem-solving skills Strong verbal and writing Communication skills with internal and external customers Experience with scheduling using scheduling/planning software tools Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
