At the Ideal Tridon Group, connections aren’t just what we make—they’re the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a Production Planner to join our team at our Smyrna, TN Plant. Position Summary: Responsible for coordination of production workflow for one or multiple products, ensuring maximization of machine capacity and resource planning.  Key Responsibilities and Duties: * Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, forecast demand, and plan inventory levels to meet customer needs. * Ensures a high level of delivery reliability for distribution centers while safeguarding company output and inventory targets. * Aims to synchronize production requirement, space, and delivery commitment with demand. * Routinely assess the plant sites and distribution centers space and inventory capacity to plan inventory levels * Gathers data from internal teams to incorporate materials, stock levels, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. *  Monitors daily production results and revises supply/demand responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. *  Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting.  Education & Experience Requirements: * A relevant business degree. * Minimum of two years of experience in manufacturing environment. * Understanding of ERP systems, including bill of materials, work order management, and inventory control. * Strong computer skills. * Proven track record of improving overall efficiencies, reducing cost, and leading teams to effect positive change within the organization.  * Knowledge of lean techniques may be advantageous. * Microsoft Office experience (Outlook-Word-Excel).  SKILLS & Attributes: * Data Collection * Forecasting * Inventory Management  * Production Scheduling * Supplier Management * Order Tracking * ERP/ APS * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.  * Comfortable with ambiguity and competing priorities.  * Confident, self-starter, change agent.  Work Environment & Culture: Foster and embody the Ideal Tridon Group values: * Devoted to Customers – Builds trusted relationships through service and reliability. * We Care – Acts with integrity, accountability, and respect for others. * Passionate About Growth – Committed to personal and team development. * Positive Energy – Creates a collaborative, energizing work environment. * We Find a Way – Resourceful, determined, and solutions-focused.
