Job Summary

Own end-to-end marketing and program delivery for Up World’s startup marketing courses, driving growth, pricing, funnel, content, delivery, and coaching while building scalable systems with automation and AI.

  • Define and pursue growth of course cohorts and revenue
  • Lead curriculum, delivery, and coaching to ensure promotion outcomes
  • Implement repeatable processes and AI-enabled operations to scale

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The numbers: £100k of course revenue today, and the job of doubling it. Cohorts currently run at 20 to 25 people. We think 40 is possible.
  • Pricing, and the argument for changing it.
  • The funnel. Launch campaigns, warm leads, paid, the landing pages, the follow-up. You'll brief our freelancers and hold the quality, and you'll write the thing yourself when it's faster.
  • The product: The ladder. Boot Camp takes a junior marketer to brand manager. The Accelerator takes a manager to head of. What sits before, between and after those is yours to decide.
  • What's actually in them. Curriculum, the sessions, who teaches what, the materials, and the podcast alongside. Marketing changes fast and the content has to keep up.
  • The bits that make them uniquely us. The coaching, the IRL day, the graduation dinner. Yours to keep sharp, and to change if you think there's something better.
  • The promise. These courses exist to get people promoted. Owning them means knowing whether that happened, chasing the outcome months later, and being able to say what proportion of a cohort moved and where they went. That's the product, and it's the best marketing we have.
  • The delivery: Running of the courses. Enrolment, comms, materials, the sessions, the IRL day, the dinner, the feedback afterwards.
  • The coaches. Managing the three we have, bringing in the ones we need, and holding the standard.
  • Course feedback is the best thing we have. Keeping it there while cohorts get bigger is harder than it sounds, and it's on you.

Requirements

  • You've launched a paid product and sold it.
  • You're comfortable selling.
  • You can market it as well as build it.
  • You've run something from start to end.
  • A systems brain.
  • You're happy owning a number, and honest when it's going the wrong way.
  • Comfortable moving fast with imperfect information.
  • An interest in startup marketing and the people doing it. You'll be in a room with them constantly, and the product only works if you like them.

Benefits

  • 🌴 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • 💪 Monthly remote-working allowance
  • 🌟 Our commitment to your development
  • 🎂 Birthday off
  • 💸 Enhanced paternity/maternity leave & pay
  • 🙂 Unlimited coaching with MoreHappi
  • 🤝 Full Up World Membership
