Try Career AgentAbout The Role & Team As a Producer with Disney Event Group (DEG), you will oversee the production development process as it relates to shows and events. In addition, you will work with the creative team to bring together essential partners working toward a common vision. You will lead a team, as well as projects. You will report to the Senior Manager, Entertainment Operations. What You Will Do Lead Production Managers assigned to their shows and events Accountability includes direct interface with Managing Producer to fulfill project scope and deliverables Partner with Disney Creative collaborators including: DEG Creative Team, Disney Parks Live Entertainment, Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) Brand Leadership - Production, Disney Music Production, Broadcast Ops, DPLE Talent Booking and Disney Character Events Collaborate with event leadership on development and delivery, and ensure production is on time and on budget Review projects/events in progress as to development, schedule, and budget, and communicate to senior management as necessary Required Qualifications & Skills Highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to manage multiple disciplines/projects in a fast-paced environment Leadership ability, including problem-solving, influencing abilities, negotiating skills and continuous improvement process experience Ability to deliver on specific and measurable targets through a collaborative team environment Ability to handle financial/accounting issues relative to area of responsibility Proven decision-making abilities and scheduling/labor management skills Presentation experience, as well as verbal and written communication skills Public speaking experience Ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills and positive demeanor Partnering, coaching and mentoring skills Proficiency with various software/computer programs including Microsoft Office Excel, Word PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet and willingness to learn new software programs or applications Ability to be adaptable to a wide variety of working environments Working knowledge of Walt Disney World® collective bargaining agreements, including AEA, AFM, IATSE and Service Trades Union contracts Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights and holidays Preferred Qualifications 10 + years background combined in stage management, production or technical disciplines combined with 4 + years as Producer Theme Park entertainment experience or equivalent Experience and knowledge of Event Entertainment Show Production and Entertainment Operations Required Education Bachelor’s degree in entertainment production or related field, or equivalent Preferred Education Master's degree or equivalent in theatre-related field Benefits and Perks: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
