Responsibilities

Lead strategic communications, public outreach and marketing campaigns for public agency clients.
Serve as the day-to-day leader for a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget and above expectations.
Coach, mentor and develop a high-performing team through regular feedback, accountability and support.
Empower your team to own their work while providing the guidance they need to succeed.
Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, balancing priorities while keeping clients and internal teams informed.
Develop strategic communication plans, messaging, outreach strategies and compelling content across multiple channels.
Partner closely with our creative team to produce outstanding campaigns, websites, videos, presentations and marketing materials.
Review deliverables for quality, strategic alignment and consistency before they reach clients.
Facilitate meetings with confidence, build trusted client relationships and solve problems before they become issues.
Track campaign performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field.
5-7+ years of communications, marketing or public outreach experience.
2-4+ years leading projects and developing people.
Experience managing multiple clients and competing priorities.
Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills.
Strong project management and organizational abilities.
Experience developing strategic communications and outreach plans.
Familiarity with platforms such as WordPress, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Squarespace, Granicus and Microsoft Office.
Experience working with project management software.
Government or public agency experience is a plus—but if you're a quick learner who loves meaningful work, we'd still love to hear from you.
