Job Description Do you have a passion for supporting national clients? We have an opportunity for you within Terracon’s Digital Infrastructure Sector to grow our accounts with existing and new clients who have significant plans to grow and expand their business. Our existing clients include a “Who’s who” of the Top 25 data center owner/operators and we are looking to add a National Account Manager (NAM) who will play a key role in expanding Terracon’s engagement both geographically and across all Terracon services with these clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in national client development and management, specifically in the Digital Infrastructure market. In this role, you will work to build trust with existing and new clients and foster long-term and sustainable client relationships; connect resources internally and externally, leading to opportunities with existing and prospective clients; and advance the prosperous growth of Terracon’s Digital Infrastructure Sector as well as our national account program. This is a remote position but would be beneficial for the candidate to be close to a Terracon office. Essential Roles And Responsibilities Partner with large opportunity national clients having an impact on the Digital Infrastructure Sector including data center developers and developers of power behind the meter in support of large data center complexes to understand and meet their business objectives, while increasing revenue and profit. Act as the single point of contact, where applicable, to promote existing and new services; set targets; manage and lead cross-selling, proposal development, and contract negotiation of multiple service lines; and ensure healthy relationships between Terracon and clients. Help connect clients’ needs to Terracon’s expertise and resources on one-off, portfolio, and programmatic projects nationwide and ensures clients’ interests are protected and their business expectations are achieved. Champion the identification, pursuit, and generation of new leads with prospective and existing clients. Work closely with local operations management to optimize national account performance. Use company platforms such as CRM, Power BI, Compass, ProjectXchange and others to help track the progress and results of strategic goals. Actively participate and seek leadership roles in selected industry professional organizations, associations, and technical meetings/events as a representative of Terracon. Help create and model a safe work environment; demonstrate safe work practices and always promote an Incident & Injury Free (IIFTM) culture. Travel nationally for client meetings, conferences, and internal meetings as required. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, civil engineering, environmental sciences, construction management or related field and a minimum of 15 years' related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 19 years' related experience. Minimum 15 years’ experience in senior level client relations and managing large accounts in the A/E/C industry. Preference to the Digital Infrastructure market. Experience in marketing professional services and managing accounts in one or more of the following fields: data center development and construction, power generation and industrial services. Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history. Preferred: PE, PG, CPSM, LEED AP or other professional designation aligned with Terracon services and/or the A/E/C Industry.
