Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Review our existing Meta advertising setup and identify opportunities to improve campaign structure, targeting and results.
  • Plan, create and manage paid Facebook and Instagram campaigns, including ongoing customer acquisition and retargeting.
  • Organise our existing videos, photos and organic content, turning them into engaging paid advertisements.
  • Coordinate campaigns around new competition launches, highlighted prizes and final-week promotional pushes.
  • Manage advertising budgets, monitor performance and adjust spending to focus on campaigns delivering results.
  • Test different audiences, creatives and messaging to improve conversions and return on advertising spend.
  • Check and improve conversion tracking, including Meta Pixel and Conversions API where appropriate.
  • Provide clear performance updates covering results, spending and recommended next steps.
  • Gradually support wider digital marketing and social media activities as your knowledge of the business develops.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience managing paid campaigns through Meta Ads Manager is essential. Posting organically or studying marketing alone will not meet this requirement.
  • A practical understanding of audience targeting, retargeting, campaign objectives and budget management.
  • Confidence interpreting advertising data, identifying improvements and making informed decisions.
  • The ability to turn existing content into effective ads while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Familiarity with conversion tracking and reporting; experience with Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager would be beneficial.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with the owners.
  • An interest in learning the online competition industry. Previous experience in this sector is welcome but isn’t required.
