Job Summary

Own industry advocacy work by shaping media, social, and commerce policy for ISBA members, with a focus on transparency, measurement, brand safety, AI, and platform accountability.

  • Lead cross‑industry conversations and events, convening member groups on key issues
  • Build relationships with advertisers, agencies, platforms, and regulators to advance member interests
  • Translate complex topics into clear member value and guidance for best practices

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Lead ISBA's work across media, social, influencer and commerce topics
  • Develop guidance, thought leadership and best practice for members
  • Convene member groups, events and industry discussions on key issues
  • Build relationships with advertisers, agencies, platforms, regulators and partners
  • Represent member interests across industry initiatives, standards and policy discussions
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of the media, social and commerce landscape
  • Confidence leading agendas across transparency, measurement, effectiveness, brand safety, AI and platform accountability
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate differing industry viewpoints
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, consultants, platforms or industry partners
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to turn complex topics into clear member value
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine interest in making a positive impact on the industry

  • Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 remote)
  • Holiday - 22 days plus 5 days office closure at Christmas. Ratchets up to 23 days after 3 years' service, 24 days after 5 years' service and 25 days after 10 years' service. Plus one day for birthday to be taken two weeks either side of birthday.
