About the Role AfterQuery is seeking Media and Communications Experts to create and refine communications and media strategy challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate media scenarios that test the AI's ability to interpret and apply complex communications principles, ensuring that our models can navigate real-world messaging, content strategy, and public relations situations with precision and strategic insight. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between proven media and communications practice and innovative AI solutions, making a tangible impact on the future of communications technology. Responsibilities Develop high-quality media and communications questions and case studies that challenge AI models on topics such as message development, audience targeting, media planning, crisis management, content creation, brand positioning, stakeholder engagement, and more. Evaluate and validate model responses, offering detailed feedback to ensure accuracy and adherence to communications best practices and industry standards. Collaborate with a team of communications and technical experts to fine-tune question difficulty and ensure content is both challenging and educational. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). Proven experience in media production, communications strategy, public relations, or journalism with a robust understanding of various media platforms and communication channels. Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. Required Skills Multiple years of media or communications experience, ideally across diverse formats and platforms (broadcast, digital, print, social media, etc.). Prior involvement in communications campaigns, media publications, industry thought leadership, or media technology initiatives. Experience in crisis communications, brand management, content strategy, or media relations is a plus. Familiarity with AI or technology-driven media and communications applications is a plus.
