Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Snowflake-Hosted Events: You'll own workstreams within Snowflake-owned experiences including Snowflake World Tour, Snowflake Summit activations, developer events, executive workshops and roundtables, customer dinners, and partner events.
  • Run your logistics workstreams end-to-end, from planning through onsite delivery and wrap-up.
  • Build and manage registration, track RSVPs against target, and report attendance clearly to event stakeholders.
  • Coordinate agendas, speakers, content, briefings, rehearsals, and session logistics.
  • Manage venue, catering, signage, production, branding, and swag requirements.
  • Deliver customer and executive hospitality, including VIP guests, dinners, and 1:1 meetings, in partnership with Field Marketing and Sales.
  • Work with Sales and Field Marketing to make sure priority customers and target accounts are engaged and attending
  • Ensure a seamless experience for attendees, speakers, and internal stakeholders while onsite.
  • Third-Party Conferences: You’ll deliver Snowflake’s presence at major industry events such as Hannover Messe, Davos, Web Summit, and Gartner conferences.
  • Own assigned sponsorship deliverables with event organizers — booth space, branding, speaking slots, passes, entitlements — and ensure we make the most of every opportunity.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience or equivalent depth in fewer years at a high-growth company in events, field marketing, or a closely related environment; agency experience is also welcome.
  • Proven experience owning event workstreams independently, including onsite delivery.
  • Experience with B2B trade shows, conferences, or owned events, ideally in technology or another fast-moving industry.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with clear prioritization when several things are urgent at once.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. You can pick up a workstream without a fully written brief, ask the right questions, and make sensible calls on the routine decisions while knowing when something needs your manager.
  • Genuine independence paired with genuine teamwork — you'll own your areas, and you'll also drop what you're doing to help a colleague get theirs over the line.
  • A data-driven view of event performance. You track the numbers on your own workstreams, you're honest about what didn't work, and you can make a point with evidence.
  • Confidence working with vendors and agencies day to day, including resolving issues without escalating everything.
  • Solid commercial fundamentals: budget lines, POs, invoices, and spend tracking.
  • Clear, structured written and verbal communication, including proactive status updates and early escalation.

Preferred

  • Agency experience is also welcome.
