Job Summary

Own events, content, press, and brand development for a wine marketing program, driving the strategy and ROI while coordinating freelancers and agency partners.

  • Plan and execute the Events Programme from En Primeur tastings to masterclasses, owning supplier relationships and budget.
  • Develop and implement the Marketing Strategy with the Marketing Director, plus content for website, producer profiles, blogs, and social.
  • Build press relationships, craft releases, and report on ROI and budgets while overseeing freelancers and agencies.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and run events in the Events Programme, including major En Primeur and Portfolio tastings, winemaker events, masterclasses, and partnership events
  • Prepare printed materials for tastings, such as tasting booklet, masterclass materials, and signage
  • Manage supplier and venue relationships
  • Create and execute the Marketing Strategy, alongside the Marketing Director
  • Plan, create and update content and copy for the website, producer profiles, blog, and social media
  • Create marketing materials & campaign brochures for trade and private clients
  • Liaise with the Sales Director to manage email offers in Mailchimp
  • Execute brand development plans for key producers
  • Write and distribute press releases, create and build press relationships
  • Report on marketing ROI and budgets

Requirements

  • Level 3 WSET or equivalent knowledge
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Publisher and Powerpoint, and design tools such as Canva
  • Excellent written communication skills, attention to detail, and organisational skills
  • Good understanding of brand development and management
  • Experienced in running events and marketing in the wine sector
