Job Summary

Lead and own a full PR and marketing program for LBB and its group, directing a six-figure budget across channels while optimizing for quality, commercial outcomes and brand guardianship. You will manage budgets, agencies, content, events and thought leadership across multiple sister businesses, with ownership of campaign planning, measurement, and ROI.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery of the annual PR and marketing plan and a six-figure budget across LBB and its group businesses, reporting to the Commercial Director and presenting progress to the leadership team.
  • Manage every budget line against plan: request media packs and quotes, confirm costs before committing, and meet booking deadlines for key events and accommodation.
  • Manage our SEO agency, our largest single marketing investment, holding it to account on enquiry quality and commercial return rather than traffic alone. Brief and manage PR, video and creative suppliers.
  • Line-manage our Content Creator, setting priorities, standards and a publishing rhythm.
  • Act as guardian of the LBB brand, applying our guidelines consistently across every touchpoint.
  • Plan and deliver marketing for sister businesses, each with its own audience, proposition and tone, and bring our group differentiators (in-house surveying, BuildwellAI and our after-sales service) to the fore.
  • Produce and maintain sales collateral, scaled to the events programme: brochures, product guides, case studies, proposals and event materials.
  • Build a steady pipeline of deal-led PR: named schemes, project values and client quotes, with client consent and sign-off managed properly, placed in housebuilding, construction, property and insurance trade titles.
  • Lead policy-facing thought leadership aimed at government, funders and regulators as well as industry, using our white paper programme as the anchor for PR, sponsored content and LinkedIn activity.
  • Run a quarterly video programme of at least twelve films a year, plus short clips for social.

Requirements

  • At least five years' marketing experience, with a substantial part of it in B2B.
  • A track record of planning and delivering integrated campaigns across social media, CRM and email, print and digital.
  • Experience owning a marketing budget, tracking spend line by line and showing return on it.
  • Experience managing agencies and suppliers, including holding them to commercial targets.
  • Excellent writing skills: able to turn technical subjects into clear, punchy, outcome-led copy for senior commercial audiences.
  • Hands-on CRM and email marketing experience, including segmentation, automation and reporting.
  • Confident running a LinkedIn company page and paid LinkedIn campaigns, and supporting colleagues' profiles.
  • Comfortable with data: web analytics, social insights and CRM reporting, and able to tell a story with numbers.
  • Willing to travel across the UK, occasionally overseas, and to attend some evening events.

Preferred

  • Experience in property, construction, housebuilding or the wider built environment, including housing associations and registered providers.
  • Media buying and negotiation across trade print and digital titles.
  • Events management, especially hosted formats such as roundtables, client breakfasts and awards tables.
  • Line management or mentoring experience.
  • Experience commissioning video and managing a regular content programme.
  • Experience in a regulated sector such as insurance, financial services or property finance, including financial promotions sign-off.
  • Interest or experience in AI tools, AI search visibility, marketing automation or data analysis.

Benefits

  • A role in a successful, ambitious team of positive people, with a culture that fosters ideas and autonomy.
  • Salary of c. £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Private medical
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas closure
  • Performance based discretionary bonus
  • Gym membership
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • A fully costed plan and budget to deliver from day one, with direct access to senior leadership.
