The Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau is a non-profit organization that is made up of businesses and organizations who wish to directly benefit from the products and services available to partners. In recent years, the SCC&TB evolved its original DMO role beyond that of a promotion or sales agency, to that of a Destination Management Organization (DMO), taking the lead in Destination Management which involves the coordinated and integrated management of the destination mix (stewardship of our natural resources, attractions and events, facilities, transportation, infrastructure, and hospitality resources).Effective destination management requires a long-term approach based upon a platform of destination visioning and tourism planning. The planning should be guided by goals, objectives, and specific projects that promote the sustainability of tourism and align with residential concerns and desires.Ultimately this work reflects to the SCC&TB mission: To serve the community by making Sedona the best place to live, work, play and visit.
