About the Mississippi Mud MonstersThe Mississippi Mud Monsters are a professional baseball team entering our second season in Pearl. Game day at Trustmark Park is a live show, and production is what makes it feel big, fun, and intentional. From walk-up music to hype videos to what hits the video board at just the right moment, live production shapes the entire fan experience. This role lives at the intersection of audio, visuals, timing, and energy. Preference will be given to candidates available for the full duration of the season. Who We’re Looking ForWe are looking for students with an interest in live event production, video editing, and in-venue presentation who want hands-on experience inside a professional baseball environment. As a Live Event Production Intern, you will be part of the team responsible for how games look and sound inside the ballpark. You will help run the video board, assist with audio and presentation elements, and create video content that gets fans fired up in real time. This is a seasonal internship that runs for the duration of the baseball season. What You’ll Do Assist with live event production for all home games and select events. Support operation and management of the video board during games. Assist with audio playback, music cues, announcements, and in-game presentation elements. Create and edit in-ballpark video content, including hype videos, promotional videos, and player or theme-based features. Help prepare video and graphic assets for game day use. Manage and organize video, graphics, and presentation assets for live events. Support pregame setup and postgame breakdown of production equipment as needed. Work alongside production staff to ensure timing, pacing, and presentation run smoothly. Assist with troubleshooting basic production or presentation issues during live events. Support special events and non-game day productions at the ballpark. Complete other duties as assigned. How You Show Up You stay calm and focused in fast-moving, live environments. You are comfortable switching between creative work and technical execution. You care about timing, pacing, and how moments land with a crowd. You take direction well and can adapt quickly when plans change. You enjoy being behind the scenes making the show work. What We’re Looking For Interest or experience in live event production, video editing, or in-venue presentation. Experience with video editing software is preferred. Comfort working with audio systems, video playback, or production software is a plus. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the baseball schedule. Ability to commit to the full duration of the internship from start to finish. Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-first mindset. Passion for sports, live events, and creating moments fans remember. The Details Seasonal internship based at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Mississippi. Compensation is $750 per month. This role offers hands-on experience in live sports production, video editing, and in-ballpark presentation within a professional baseball organization.
