Job Summary

Own and shape a higher education teaching program by building industry-aligned marketing curricula, delivering inclusive, multi-channel instruction, and coordinating with internal and external partners to prepare graduates for real-world opportunities.

  • Own program direction: curric development for Marketing and Business Management awards and delivery of innovative teaching.
  • Lead subject expertise across strategic brand building, business innovation and multi-channel marketing with real-world campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Collaborate with internal/external partners to create an inclusive student experience and advocate for courses globally.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the future direction and curriculum for our Marketing and Business Management awards and help develop and deliver innovative teaching.
  • Demonstrate subject expertise in strategic brand building, business innovation and/or multi-channel marketing with real-world campaigns or entrepreneurial ventures from concept to execution.
  • Leverage prior Higher Education teaching and year/module leadership experience as advantageous.
  • Be an excellent teacher who places inclusivity at the heart of practice.
  • Advocate for the discipline and promote courses to prospective students and teachers at home and internationally.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to bring diverse voices into the student experience and ensure culturally competent support.
  • Equip students with social and cultural capital to pursue graduate-level opportunities and challenges.
  • Be a strong team player with excellent communication, organisation and management skills.
  • Appointment at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level depending on experience.

Requirements

  • Higher Education teaching experience
  • Year and/or module leadership experience within a creative institution
  • Subject expertise in strategic brand building, business innovation and/or multi-channel marketing with demonstrable experience delivering real-world marketing campaigns and/or entrepreneurial ventures from concept through to execution

Preferred

  • Experience with industry technology and software (e.g., analytics platforms)
  • Prior HE teaching experience and year/module leadership experience (advantageous)
