Royal Caribbean Group’s Royal Caribbean International brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Lead, Strategy and Analytics on the Product Development Team reporting to the Director, Analytics Product Development. This position will work onsite in Miami, Florida. This position is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship. Position Summary In this position, you would be the core to the Product Development department since that team provides guidance on focus venues, new ships, and destinations, which ultimately curate our guest experience. You would elevate the impact of analytics by designing data visualizations, infographics, dashboards, and presentations, to effectively communicate insights through engaging narratives. You will need to be a self-starter who uses innovation and intuition to creatively answer burning business questions that in the end inform the design of our future product portfolio. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Passionate about guest centric analytics, deriving insights and telling guests stories to help create new and exciting experiences. Perform and manage in depth analytics that may require extreme data crunching and connecting performance across various data sets throughout the company to answer strategic business questions. Connect the corporation's performance through Revenue, Marketing, Operations and Guest satisfaction data to educate and surface insights for new experiences and product improvements. Build strong business acumen across commercial and operational arms of the company and connect these to communicate a simplified story. Identify and explore new data sources to enhance Product Developments ability to make data driven decisions. Collaborate cross functionally to create and share new analyses, updates and opportunities that enrich the organization’s knowledge. Create viable business intelligence products such as intuitive visual dashboards and self-service portals, while being cognizant on repeatability, scalability, and automation. Help create databases and data structures to support business questions and ad hoc analyses. Qualifications, Knowledge And Skills Bachelor's or equivalent required in a closely related field of study; MBA preferred and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of five years of related analytics experience. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of personnel. Complex Problem Solving: Ability to identify the root cause of complex problems, develop options and recommend solutions. Analytical: Ability to combine data with critical thinking to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. Presentation: Strong aptitude to present complex data analyses into simple, concise, and engaging stories that bring insights to the forefront. Project Management: Ability to effectively collaborate with various teams to align and influence strategic decision-making process. Strong Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring data and insights presented are accurate. Technical Skills: Intermediate SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other Data Visualization tool, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required. We know there's a lot to consider.
