We are currently seeking an Insights Analyst to join our team in Batesville, Indiana. This role operates in a hybrid environment, offering the opportunity to collaborate in person at our Batesville headquarters while also providing flexibility to work remotely. Your Role At Batesville As an Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting our data visualization and reporting initiatives supporting the sales and marketing functions at Batesville. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and motivated to lead the design, development, and optimization of interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI, helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions. The expected base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location. Generous 401K Matching Program Paid time off Opportunities for development and advancement What You’ll Do Report & Dashboard Development Design, architect, and implement complex, enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and reports. Creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements. Transform data from existing semantic models into meaningful visualizations that support business insights. Ensure reports are user-friendly, accurate, and aligned with stakeholder needs. Data Preparation & Modeling Connect to various data sources (Excel, SQL Server, SharePoint, etc.) and prepare datasets for reporting. Develop and maintain robust, scalable metrics and KPIs for sales and marketing functions that will be developed in our data models and semantic layers. Support the validation of data integration efforts across multiple complex sources, ensuring data quality and governance. Collaboration & Support Work closely with other Insights Analysts business stakeholders, BI developers, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand reporting needs. Participate in requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical specifications. Provide support and troubleshooting for existing reports and dashboards. Documentation & Training Document report logic, data sources, and processes for future reference. Create user guides and training materials for end-users and lead training sessions and workshops for business users and technical staff. Stay up to date with Power BI features and best practices and help present them within the BI Center of Excellence. Other duties as required. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or a related field Minimum of 5 years related Power BI Development experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in data visualization tools Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service and publishing best practices Basic understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design Understanding of Sales and Marketing operations Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Excel Power Pivot, or other BI tools preferred Experience with version control tools like Git preferred Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts preferred Travel Associate must be able to travel 10 % of the time.
