Role As Head of Business Development & Platform Relations, you will lead Wooster Games’ platform and partnership strategy end to end—driving expansion to new platforms and unlocking high-impact collaborations with leading entertainment and technology partners. You’ll work closely with the CEO and executive team to shape our business development roadmap, own relationships with top global partners, craft and deliver compelling pitches, negotiate complex deals, and ensure partnerships are executed successfully alongside our product, creative, and publishing teams. This is a highly strategic, hands-on leadership role for someone who can represent Wooster Games with executive presence, make strong decisions with incomplete information, and help build the ecosystem around one of the industry’s fastest-growing game universes. You set the plan, get in the room, lead the deal, and see it through at the highest l evel. What You ’ll Do Strategic Lead ership:Develop, lead and drive the business development and partnership function for the Wooster Games studio.Collaborate with executive and senior leadership to establish annual revenue and growth goals.Lead platform expansion strategy and relationships across Meta, Valve, Sony, Nintendo, mobile platforms, and game s tudios.Collaborate closely with General Managers, Creative Directors, and other members of Wooster Games Leadership to ensure world-class exe cution. Business Development & Platform Relatio nships: Source, evaluate, and close strategic brand/IP partnerships across entertainment, toys, lifestyle, and c reators.Build pitch narratives, partnership decks, and executive-level messaging for external stake holders.Structure and negotiate deals that align with Wooster Games’ long-term product and community vision.Maintain a clear opportunity pipeline and proactively identify new growth vectors.Achieve or exceed annual revenue and growth goals individually, and as a team. Leadership and Dev elopment:Inspire, mentor, and develop employees, fostering a high-performance, innovative culture.Identify, attract, and retain top talent, offering opportunities for professiona l growth. What We’re L ooking For 6–10+ years in BD, partnerships, publishing, or strategy roles in gaming, entertainment, and/or brand/IP licensing.Experience managing high-value partnerships end-to-end (from sourcing to negotiating to execution).Strong communication and presence – someone who can walk into a room with Fortune 100 execs or major platforms and drive the co nversation.Strategic thinker with excellent operational instincts; able to zoom out and shape high-level strategy, then roll up sleeves to execute.Comfortable working directly with founders/executives and making recommendations with incomplete i nformation.Experience with game publishing, platform relations, licensing, toy/entertainment partnerships, or cross-platfor m launches.Deep familiarity with games, youth culture, online communities, and social/UGC ecosystems.Ability to travel 20 - 25% o f the time.
