Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Research target locations to identify relevant communities, networks, and groups to recruit contributors from
  • Develop and execute market-specific outreach and recruitment plans to grow the contributor base in each region
  • Create marketing materials that explain and promote the contributor opportunity, tailored to each market
  • Advertise the opportunity to prospective contributors within target markets, across the right channels for that region
  • Monitor and support Crowd Threat's community/contributor support channels, helping resolve questions and keep contributors engaged
  • Track recruitment progress against location-based targets and report on what's working

Requirements

  • Experience in community management, growth marketing, or international recruitment — ideally with exposure to working across multiple countries or cultures
  • Strong research instincts — comfortable digging into an unfamiliar market to find the right people and groups
  • Confident creating marketing/outreach content (copy, social, simple creative assets)
  • Excellent written communication, with sensitivity to cultural and regional nuance
  • Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity — this is a build-it role, not a maintain-it role

Preferred

  • Bonus: experience with OSINT, crowdsourcing platforms, gig-economy contributor networks, or civil unrest/security-adjacent fields
