Freelance Video Producer/Writer

JOB TITLE: Freelance Video Producer/Writer LOCATION: Chicago, IL (hybrid onsite 2-3 days per week with possible travel) PAY RATE: $35ph / w2 START DATE: ASAP DURATION: 6 months with strong possibility of extension HOURS: Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week Fortune 500 company seeking a Freelance Video Producer/Writer to create content for internal and external audiences. This self-starter will oversee concepting, filming, editing and production of content. This individual should have strong experience working with production crews, pitching stories, scriptwriting, field producing, and overseeing post-production. We are looking for a team player and collaborative partner, who will bring enthusiasm, a fresh perspective and creativity to every single project. QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years producing video content for broadcast, agency, or an in-house creative team Demonstrate knowledge of overall production process, from coordinating pre-production logistics to executing in the field to overseeing post-production Must have a resume and portfolio for review Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills required Ability to pitch and develop story ideas, coordinate talent booking, plan crew logistics, and effectively communicate with staff production team Collaborative approach and ability to work in fast-paced, quickly changing environments Work closely with graphics team and editors Work efficiently with internal and external partners throughout the entire production process including daily meetings with internal production team Experience producing content for large scale events, social platforms, and sizzle reels preferred Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects, JIRA is a+ Ability to travel on short notice Catena Solutions brings 30+ years of expertise supporting organizations to drive growth, optimize operations, and navigate industry challenges.
