Job Summary

Own multi channel festival comms from content creation to live on site coverage, with real time social, app pushes, paid campaigns, and post event reporting; lead a cross functional team during peak period to drive audience growth and engagement.

  • End to end ownership of social, paid, community and performance reporting tied to KPIs.
  • On site leadership during the live event with real time coverage and content capture.
  • Own production of original content and guide the on site content strategy while collaborating with production teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Own full digital communications: social media, paid campaigns, community management, and performance reporting through post-event wrap.
  • BAU role with real creative scope.
  • Create content yourself and lead comms ops: scheduling, copy, reactive messaging, ad campaigns, KPI reporting.
  • On-site live festival Aug 12-16 embedded in onsite comms, round-the-clock shifts for live social, push notifications, reactive messaging.
  • Lead the digital output with a production, film, and photography team around you; still do work solo.
  • Day-to-day social management across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube.
  • Paid digital advertising across Meta, TikTok, Google with budget management.
  • Conversion-focused campaigns supporting ticket sales targets.
  • Performance analytics and reporting to the Director of Brand.
  • Maximise audience growth and engagement through peak festival period and capture high-performing original content.
Requirements
  • Solid social media marketing and SMO skills, with experience managing brand channels and campaigns.
  • Strong writing abilities, including clear, engaging copy tailored to different platforms and audiences.
  • Experience in content strategy, planning calendars, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to improve performance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, live-event environment.
  • Comfort working on-site in City of Bristol and collaborating with diverse creative and production teams.
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of festival culture, underground music, or live events marketing is highly beneficial.
  • Previous experience in digital marketing, community management, or content production is preferred.
