At U.S. Hunger, we are building a team of part-time employees who travel across the country to help lead and coordinate meal packing events that have so far provided over 150 million meals to local communities. We provide all expenses paid travel, and we pay you $15 an hour. Have fun, fight hunger, apply now! U.S. Hunger is a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission of coming together to feed families today and uniting them to a healthier tomorrow. What You Will Do In this part-time role you are able to make your own schedule. When working, you will be responsible for ensuring successful, engaging, and impactful events all across the country for our partners and volunteers. If traveling across the country, learning the events business, engaging with volunteers, and fighting hunger gets you excited, this position may be right for you! Some of the activities involved include: Connecting with clients and volunteers ensuring excellent customer service during our Hunger Projects Educating volunteers about U.S. Hunger and our initiatives Coordinating and facilitating Hunger Project event setup and breakdown Ensuring food safety guidelines are followed Hours of work depend on the availability and location of projects as well as your schedule. The Impact of helping people who are hungry in the US and across the world All expenses paid travel all across the country Flexible schedule Requirements Must by 18 years of age or older High School diploma or equivalent Enthusiastic, strong interpersonal skills, and positive attitude Attentive to detail Demonstrated ability to successfully work with large groups of people Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and move around on a floor for hours at a time Background check and driving history report are required for this role
