Job Summary

Own regional marketing initiatives across Europe, aligning strategy, campaigns and team leadership to grow awareness, sign-ups and retention in multiple markets.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust marketing strategy for the region/countries to drive brand awareness, sign ups and retention
  • Identify and understand opportunities and challenges in both markets
  • Set clear objectives and KPIs for the teams on the ground
  • Cultivate an atmosphere of creative innovation
  • Lead and mentor a team of 10 marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Fill in the gaps - enhance their projects, ensure you provide an extra layer of thinking, consideration and value add to their work
  • Work closely with teams on the ground to ensure their efforts are worthwhile and will move the needle, with opportunities maximised and fully thought through
  • Oversee the planning, execution and measurement of integrated marketing campaigns across the various real and digital channels
  • Develop compelling brand messaging and creative assets that resonate with target audiences in both markets.
  • Work closely with performance marketing in optimising the marketing budget to maximise ROI and drive KPIs

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a startup or fast-paced consumer business (ideally tech), preferably across multiple European markets.
  • Performance marketing expertise, hands on executing UA campaigns across the major ad platforms
  • Proven expertise in GTM planning and execution.
  • Deep understanding of the cultural nuances, consumer behavior, and media landscapes in the region.
  • Strong experience in leading and inspiring cross-border marketing teams.
  • Exceptional data skills and a proven ability to evaluate and optimize marketing activities.
  • Demonstrated success in both online and offline brand building.
  • Strong understanding of Muslim culture and its significance in the region, whether through lived experience or extensive professional exposure.
  • Fluency in English and French - bonus if you speak (French, German, Dutch, Turkish or Darija)
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple time zones.

Preferred

  • Fluency in a European language is a huge bonus.
