What You'll Do Coordinate delivery scheduling and communicate with drivers whilemaintaininga high standard of customer service Prepare position reports in Excel reflecting customer and contract details, material types, delivery schedules, and supplier contract numbers Proactively manage customer accounts, including direct customer communication regardingpending or delayed deliveries Verify shipment items against work orders to ensure accuracy of quantities, destinations, and routing What You'll Need Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role preferred Solid understanding of production, logistics, and customer service operations Strong decision-making skills with excellent verbal and written customer service communication Working knowledge of DOT regulations and manual compliance Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
