To succeed as the Senior Manager, Student Programs, you should have: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a demonstrated commitment to U.S. history, civics, and civic education grounded in the founding principles. 6+ years of leadership experience with proven capability in project management, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration. Documented success designing, managing, and scaling educational or youth engagement programs, including state-level civic initiatives. 5+ years of experience in student programming, experiential education, civic engagement initiatives, or training. Proficiency with project management software, ability to quickly learn new systems, and willingness to travel 8–12 times per year. Your responsibilities as the Senior Manager, Student Programs will include: Lead the design, implementation, and national scaling of student-facing civic learning programs. Oversee program operations, budgets, grants, and evaluation to ensure effectiveness, sustainability, and measurable impact. Apply design thinking, experiential learning, and universal design principles to create engaging and accessible student experiences. Serve as both strategic program leader and hands-on producer, guiding initiatives from concept through execution. Build and sustain partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and stakeholders while representing BRI at events and public forums.
