Job Purpose We are seeking a Director, Digital Client Solutions Architecture to join our team as a senior, client-facing leader at the intersection of technology, strategy, and delivery. In this role, you will partner closely with clients to understand their business objectives, shape solution strategies, and guide the design and implementation of scalable Airtable solutions. You will play a critical role in supporting new business opportunities by contributing to solution design, scoping, and technical storytelling throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle. Your ability to combine strong solution architecture expertise with strategic client engagement and experience navigating complex corporate compliance environments will enable clients to leverage Airtable effectively to meet their business needs. You will guide clients in adopting Airtable in a sustainable way, empowering them to become citizen developers who can independently manage and evolve their solutions. This is a unique opportunity to shape impactful digital solutions, build trusted client relationships, and, as needed, lead, delegate to, and mentor other Airtable builders in delivering exceptional outcomes. Key Responsibilities Client Strategy and Relationship Leadership: Act as a senior, client-facing leader and trusted advisor, partnering with stakeholders to understand business goals, operational challenges, and growth priorities. Build strong, long-term relationships by advising on best practices and aligning solutions to client strategy. Solution Strategy and Architecture: Architect simple, scalable, efficient, and innovative Airtable and no-code solutions tailored to client needs. Define solution roadmaps and guide the evolution of client platforms as their businesses grow. Design, Build, and Delivery Oversight: Oversee and understand the design and implementation of workflows, databases, automations, and appropriate system-to-system integrations. Remain hands-on where appropriate while delegating execution to other builders and ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability. Customization and Automation: Guide the development of automations, scripts, and third-party integrations that enhance client operations, efficiency, and reporting capabilities. New Business and Account Growth Support: Support new business development and account expansion by contributing to solution design, scoping, and technical input during sales and renewal conversations. Coaching and Enablement: Coach and mentor clients to become confident “citizen developers,” enabling them to independently manage and extend their Airtable solutions. Counsel and advise internal Spark team members to promote best practices, shared knowledge, and reusable templates and workflows. Security and Governance: Ensure Airtable configurations are secure and compliant with internal policies and external regulations. Serve as a guardian of client data by identifying potential risks, escalating issues, and following established protocols. Spark Support Engagement: Ensure smooth transition of Airtable solutions to Spark support teams, enabling ongoing maintenance, access control management, troubleshooting, and data integrity checks. Act as an escalation point for complex or high-risk issues as needed. What You’ll Bring Qualifications Experience in a Manager, Senior Manager, or Director-level role delivering client-facing technology or digital solutions Demonstrated experience advising clients on technology solutions, including solution design, delivery leadership, and relationship management Experience identifying, shaping, or supporting new business opportunities, including contributing to sales conversations and account growth Hands-on experience with Airtable or comparable no-code / low-code platforms, with the ability to deepen technical expertise as needed Proven ability to build trust and manage senior client relationships effectively Experience coaching or mentoring clients or teams to become independent users of digital platforms, with a focus on enablement and adoption Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, prioritizing effectively and ensuring high-quality delivery Education & Certifications Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Required: Airtable Admin and Builder certifications, 2+ years of advanced Airtable experience and exposure Preferred: Experience working with Marketing and Communications teams and other AI / no-code development platforms Who You Are Curiosity: You are naturally inquisitive about client challenges, exploring workflows and data structures to uncover the right solutions.
