Overview The Director of Client Excellence is a strategic-commercial hybrid role designed to bridge our client service organization with the broader Publicis Groupe ecosystem. This person will source, translate, and mobilize the best thinking, solutions, and capabilities from across the Groupe to unlock new growth opportunities for the client. Operating at the intersection of Strategy, Client Services, and Business Development, this role requires a networker and broker who can move at the speed of the client while bringing fresh, commercially viable solutions to our client conversations. Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Translation Continuously scan Publicis Groupe for relevant POVs, case studies, new acquisitions, technology solutions, and expert capabilities Translate external solutions into client-specific opportunities, identifying clear application to client business challenges Curate and package insights in commercially actionable formats that enable client services teams to drive growth conversations Partner with Client Services and Strategy to ensure solutions align with the client’s business priorities and our account strategy Commercial Enablement Identify white space and growth opportunities by connecting Groupe capabilities to the client’s needs Enable Client Services team with differentiated thinking and solutions that drive Groupe and Account Strategy. Brief and prepare teams for strategic client conversations with specific angles, experts, and supporting materials Partner with BD to shape pitches and proposals that leverage Groupe-wide solutions Cross-Organizational Brokering Build and maintain relationships across Publicis Groupe to source best-in-class solutions and expertise Navigate internal networks to rapidly mobilize resources, experts, and capabilities for client opportunities Act as internal connector between BD, Client Services, and Strategy - ensuring alignment and agility Facilitate collaboration with partner agencies and Groupe entities to deliver integrated solutions Client Growth Identify expansion opportunities within the client by matching Groupe capabilities to unmet client needs Support development of strategic growth initiatives that go beyond operational delivery Bring external market intelligence and competitive insights to inform account strategy Drive thought leadership positioning that elevates our strategic value to the client Operational Excellence Maintain the "speed of the client" - operate with agility and responsiveness Ensure solutions are practical, implementable, and aligned to client timelines Track success of introduced solutions and capabilities to optimize future recommendations Balance strategic thinking with commercial pragmatism Skills & Attributes Strategic-commercial mindset: can think conceptually but land on actionable, sellable solutions Exceptional networker: builds relationships across organizational boundaries effortlessly Translator: takes complex solutions and makes them relevant and applicable to specific client contexts Insider/outsider perspective: can navigate internal politics while bringing fresh external thinking Intellectually curious with finger on pulse of marketing innovation, technology, and industry trends Agile operator who can move quickly without sacrificing quality or strategic rigor Communication & Relationship Building Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence and inspire Proven ability to brief and enable teams for high-stakes client conversations Comfortable presenting to senior client stakeholders and internal leadership Strong facilitation skills across cross-functional teams Qualifications 8-10+ years in strategy, account management, or business development roles at agencies or consultancies Proven experience identifying and selling new growth opportunities to major clients Marketing or advertising background with strong understanding of integrated campaigns and capabilities Experience working across complex, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders Experience at holding company agencies with knowledge of Publicis Groupe capabilities, preferred Technology and data marketing experience Track record of driving organic growth through strategic solution development Existing relationships within Publicis Groupe network, preferred Additional Information The Power of One starts with our people!
