Job Summary

Own and drive a purpose-led brand and marketing strategy that connects campaigns, customer experience, and community activity to sustainable growth, while aligning senior stakeholders to maximize cross-functional impact in a regulated, member-first environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • lead the development and delivery of a distinctive, purpose-led strategy that drives sustainable growth and deepens member engagement across channels
  • shape a compelling, consistent brand experience across all channels—supporting strong commercial outcomes across savings, mortgages, and financial advice
  • partner with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and maximise impact of brand, marketing, and corporate affairs
  • define and embed a clear purpose—bringing it to life through campaigns, customer experience, and community activity—ensuring it is visible in every interaction
  • lead end-to-end marketing and CRM strategy, overseeing customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • build strong cross-functional collaboration across the organisation
  • drive innovation and digital capability and manage external reputation and strategic partnerships
  • deliver measurable commercial success alongside meaningful community impact

Requirements

  • leadership role with track record of delivering impactful brand and marketing strategies in complex, regulated environments
  • strategic thinking with disciplined execution, bringing clarity of vision while ensuring delivery against ambitious commercial and purpose-led goals
  • deep experience in brand, marketing, and corporate affairs
  • comfortable shaping long-term strategy as well as driving day-to-day performance
  • sound, data-informed decisions and balance commercial outcomes with ethical, member-first thinking
  • strong stakeholder leadership, with the ability to influence at senior level, align diverse teams, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability
  • understanding of governance, risk, and regulatory frameworks ensures everything you deliver is both effective and compliant
