KAXE/KBXE is the first rural, public radio station in the nation. With a solid reputation as an authentic and progressive community radio station, listeners tune in from all around the country and world each day to hear what is going on in northern Minnesota. Our independent, nonprofit organization operates two unique community-based public radio stations in Grand Rapids at 91.7 FM and Bemidji at 90.5 FM.
