Job Description

About Cadira

Cadira is a contemporary furniture retailer specialising in modern, design-led furniture for residential interiors. We work with leading European manufacturers and focus on quality, craftsmanship and thoughtful design.

As an independent retail business, we operate with a close-knit team and value flexibility, commercial awareness and a collaborative approach.

The Role

We are seeking a Digital Content & Marketing Executive to plan, create and manage high-quality digital content that supports brand awareness, customer engagement and ecommerce performance.

This is a hands-on role combining creative production with real-world retail interaction. The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging with customers, representing the brand in person and on camera, and understanding how creative output supports commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Production

  • Plan and produce product, lifestyle and promotional content for use across social media, website and marketing campaigns
  • Shoot and edit short- and long-form video content, including voiceovers and occasional on-camera appearances
  • Capture and edit high-quality photography aligned with a premium brand aesthetic
  • Use AI-assisted tools where appropriate to support image editing, asset variation and workflow efficiency

Content Management & Campaign Support

  • Manage and organise creative assets to ensure consistency across platforms
  • Create blog and editorial content aligned with SEO best practice
  • Design digital and print assets for promotions, launches and exhibitions using tools such as Canva or Adobe InDesign

Commercial Awareness & Public Interaction

  • Interact confidently with customers in-store, at events and exhibitions when required
  • Capture live content during exhibitions, promotions and showroom activity
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of how content influences customer behaviour, engagement and sales

Performance & Insight

  • Monitor engagement and performance metrics across digital channels
  • Produce regular reports and insights to inform future content decisions
  • Track market trends and competitor activity within the furniture and interiors sector

Operational & Event Support

  • Support the wider team during peak trading periods and in-store activity
  • Assist with exhibitions and events, including setup, live support and content capture

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Strong videography, photography and editing skills
  • Experience creating content for consumer-facing brands, ideally within a premium or design-led retail environment
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage the public professionally
  • Comfortable representing a brand in person and on camera
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of retail and ecommerce performance
  • Experience managing content across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Desirable

  • Working knowledge of SEO, ecommerce and content optimisation
  • Familiarity with paid social or PPC concepts
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted creative tools (e.g. for image editing or content enhancement)
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe InDesign or similar tools

Working Pattern & Flexibility

  • The role is based at our showroom and requires working every other Saturday
  • Occasional additional hours may be required during exhibitions, events or peak trading periods

Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Camberley on a regular basis.

Contract & Progression

This role is offered on an initial six-month fixed-term contract, with the intention to extend or make permanent subject to performance and business needs.
