Based in Los Angeles, BD&J is California’s leading personal injury law firm, with over $2 billion recovered for our clients, and we are currently seeking a skilled and articulate Demand Writer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a way with words and a keen eye for detail to contribute to high-value personal injury cases. The Demand Writer will be responsible for crafting persuasive and well-supported demand letters based on case facts, medical records, and client narratives. This is a full-time, remote position. Responsibilities Include Calculating the total damage sustained by the client in medical expenses, property damage, lost wages, and more. Draft compelling letters that outline case facts, liability, injuries, treatment, and damages to obtain maximum settlement amount from insurance companies. Analyze medical records and bills to accurately summarize treatment and calculate damages Calculate the total damage sustained by the client in medical expenses, property damage, lost wages, and more Edit and revise drafts based on feedback from attorneys or supervisors Skills & Requirements Qualified candidate will have 2+ years related experience in a Personal Injury law firm. Must be familiar with reading medical reports and medical bills. Must be organized and efficient with high accuracy and attention to detail. Must have excellent math skills and writing skills.
