Data Analytics & Engineering - Data Analyst III itD is seeking a Data Analyst to deliver advanced analytics solutions that drive quality insights across manufacturing and field performance data for next-generation smart devices. This role will play a critical part in enabling data-informed decision-making by building and maintaining scalable dashboards, troubleshooting data pipelines, and uncovering actionable insights that ensure shipped products exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in business intelligence, SQL development, and Tableau dashboarding, along with a proven track record of delivering high-impact reporting infrastructure and executive-ready analytics. Location: Hybrid – Sunnyvale, CA (3 days onsite) Pay Rate: $95.85-108.21(hourly), depending on experience We provide comprehensive medical benefits, a 401k plan, paid holidays, and more. Responsibilities Develop rich, dynamic dashboards using SQL and Tableau, leveraging out-of-the-box functionality and custom visualizations to support manufacturing and field analytics. Troubleshoot and maintain data pipelines, queries, and complex dashboards to ensure high system uptime, data accuracy, and seamless access to critical business insights. Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, quality gaps, and performance drivers across device modules and systems. Enhance and expand the business intelligence ecosystem by implementing new analytics features and improving reporting capabilities. Act as an internal consultant by gathering requirements, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending scalable solutions to cross-functional stakeholders. Deliver clear, executive-ready summary documentation and presentations that translate quantitative findings into actionable business recommendations. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to influence roadmap priorities and support end-to-end product lifecycle quality initiatives. Internal Responsibilities Attend regular internal practice community meetings. Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership. Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material). Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice. Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual). Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities. Required Qualifications And Skills 10+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence (flexible for highly motivated candidates with strong experience). Advanced SQL expertise, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and performance optimization. Strong Tableau experience building and troubleshooting medium-to-complex dashboards. Experience maintaining and debugging data pipelines and reporting infrastructure. Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions. Demonstrated experience delivering executive-level reporting and insight documentation. Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to clearly present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications And Skills Experience in manufacturing, hardware, or device quality analytics. Background in predictive analytics or data science methodologies. Strong data storytelling and visualization best practices. Experience improving or modernizing BI ecosystems. Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
