Dance Events & Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Contact dance schools, dance teachers and dance professionals to introduce Dance Waves Competition.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools and contacts in the dance community.
• Identify opportunities to increase participation in our competitions.
• Support marketing activities, social media communication and event promotion.
• Coordinate communication with participants and local event partners.
• Research the dance market and identify opportunities for further development.
• Assist with event planning and coordination.
• Contribute ideas to improve the visibility and reach of Dance Waves Competition.

Requirements

• A genuine interest in dance and the performing arts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive, enthusiastic and solution-oriented attitude.
• Confidence in communicating with different people and organisations.
• Basic digital skills, including email and social media.
• Experience in marketing, sales, event management or dance is an advantage.
