Role Summary The Corporate Performance Analyst plays a key role in driving enterprise-wide performance by analyzing financial and operational data, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and supporting strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with leadership, finance, and business units to deliver actionable insights, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance organizational performance. This role assists in the development, automation and continuous improvement of business reporting including supporting the performance metrics of the business. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both business partners and technical leaders. They will collaborate closely with senior analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and usability of data assets. Responsibilities Support regular business reporting process and workflows that impact corporate metrics and KPIs Create and maintain process documentation including metric definition, reporting processes, and templates Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and consistency Identify trends, patterns, and insights from structured data to support business operations and performance monitoring; translate data into clear insights and recommendations Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Products to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and alignment with corporate reporting standards. Independently conduct smaller-scale analyses and deliver actionable insights with support from more experienced team members. Communicate findings clearly through visualizations and summaries tailored to business audiences, with support from senior analysts. Contribute to team learning by participating in peer reviews, asking questions, and sharing knowledge as skills develop. Qualifications Competencies Strategic thinking and business acumen 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, corporate strategy, or performance management Proficiency in Excel and basic SQL Introductory proficiency in visualization tools - Tableau or Alteryx a plus Basic understanding of data structures and visualization principles Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business, Economics or related fields. Advanced degree is preferred. Career Development Corporate Performance Analyst is expected to remain in this role for a minimum of two years. They become eligible for progression into Senior Corporate Performance Analyst roles based on demonstrated proficiency in core technical skills, consistent delivery of high-quality work, and the ability to operate with increasing independence. Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking. Compensation Information The expected salary range for this position (Corporate Performance Analyst) in US-MA-Boston is between $89,000 and $121,000 USD. This represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Suffolk’s total compensation package. Actual salaries may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Suffolk offers a comprehensive benefits package as part of its overall compensation strategy. Salary ranges may differ by geography and are reviewed regularly to reflect market trends.
