Job Summary

Own the AFC content narrative end to end, from strategy and production to execution as Executive Producer, with a beat on fan engagement, ticket revenue, and partner charity storytelling.

  • Content Ownership: Own content strategy and output for AFC and Aberdeen FC Community Trust across social and RedTV to drive revenue and growth.
  • Storytelling & Production: Lead the AFC story and creative content generation across platforms and partnerships.
  • Fan & Revenue Outcomes: Build must-watch content that moves engagement, attendance, and commercial metrics.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • The role will bridge the gap between the pitch and the fan, creating "must watch" social and RedTV content that drives commercial revenue, ticket sales, and fan growth and engagement.
  • Working as part of our collaborative Marketing and Communications teams, the successful candidate will take ownership of content strategy and output and creative content generation for the AFC and partner charity, Aberdeen FC Community Trust.
  • The vacancy for a permanent Content Manager who will become the Executive Producer of the AFC’s story.
Requirements
  • Applicants should have excellent social, graphic and video production skill set, alongside proven experience and up-to-date media knowledge.
  • Being passionate about digital innovations whilst demonstrating strong editorial abilities are essential.
  • Full-time role working 35 hours per week, with the requirement to work matches, and/or any club events which may take place during evenings and weekends.
