The Content Management Intern works within TxDOT's Creative Services section to support the ongoing updating and maintenance of TxDOT.gov and other digital properties. This position will play a key role in our content oversight workflows, including evaluating digital content for compliance with established standards. Accessibility will be a large focus, including identifying and documenting issues related to compliance, supporting the cross-functional collaboration to resolve those issues, and contributing to awareness initiatives related to digital accessibility for TxDOT.gov. The Content management Intern will also work with our internal clients and external vendors to complete projects, help in the management of our website, and build relationships across the agency. This internship provides valuable experience working with Adobe Experience Manager. Please note that while technical skills are appreciated, a willingness to learn and an interest in websites and digital management is most valuable. This position is not technical in nature and will be primarily focused on the content management aspect of the website. Essential Duties: Update and edit content for pages on TxDOT.gov within content management system (CMS) Respond to and fulfill requests via ticketing system Evaluate digital content for accessibility compliance, identifying and documenting issue areas Upload and maintain assets to digital asset management system (DAM) Coordinate with external vendors and internal clients Pitch improvements for the site and components Generate insights from analytics and SEO reports Assist in troubleshooting issues and testing proposed solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams on remediation of accessibility issue areas Producing documentation for reports, processes, trainings, and templates Contribute to requirement and content gathering efforts Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Education: Must be a student in high school or other educational institution or accepted into a college, university or educational institution. Other Conditions: Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education to include a trade/vocational school.
