Job Summary
Own Tropic’s short-form content engine for Instagram and TikTok, turning strategy into platform-specific, on-brand videos that drive engagement and learnings.
- Content ideation and format adaptation for each platform to maximize engagement.
- Own on-camera narratives, shooting and editing with mobile tools to deliver native-feel content.
- Collaborate with campaigns and test/learn cycles to iterate based on performance.
Job Description
- Generate fresh, original content ideas designed to drive engagement across Instagram and TikTok, based on the strategy set by the Social Media Manager
- Translate the Tropic brand - our identity, values, and way of doing things into content formats and styles that are right for each platform and its audience
- Help define and shape what Tropic looks and feels like on Instagram and TikTok, navigating platform nuances while keeping our essence intact
- Shoot and produce content using an iPhone in a variety of environments, from the office to the warehouse to on-the-go to Tropic events
- Edit content using tools such as CapCut or similar, ensuring a native, platform-first feel
- Confidently appear on camera when needed, bringing personality and energy to content
- Capture reactive, trend-led content quickly and creatively
- Get involved in street-style interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, GRWM and day-in-the-life style content
- Collaborate with the wider marketing and brand teams to align content with campaigns and key moments
- Continuously test and learn, iterating on content based on performance and engagement
