Own the end-to-end communications workflow from planning to evaluation, turning objectives into practical plans and delivering cross-channel content that resonates with key audiences.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of communications from planning through to implementation and evaluation
  • Work with colleagues to identify key audiences and translate objectives into clear, practical communications plans
  • Create engaging content across a range of channels, including digital and offline platforms
  • Ensure communications activities align with donor requirements and organisational priorities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality communications outputs
  • Contribute to evaluating communications activity and using insights to improve future work

Requirements

  • Experience in a communications role or environment
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, engaging content for different audiences
  • Experience of using a range of communications channels, including digital platforms
  • Ability to plan and organise work effectively, managing competing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence in turning ideas or objectives into practical communications activities
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital tools

Preferred

  • Experience working in international development, global health or a related field
  • Knowledge of policy or programme communications
  • Experience working with donor-funded programmes or meeting contractual communications requirements
  • Experience working with external agencies or suppliers
