Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead communications and culture initiatives to strengthen trust, engagement, alignment, and connection to the mission during rapid growth.
Draft and edit high-quality materials across press, media pitches, briefing docs, blogs, internal announcements, keynote talking points, panels, op-eds, and related assets.
Translate technical aerospace, propulsion, manufacturing, and defense topics into clear, compelling messages for employees, media, customers, partners, and other audiences.
Support external communications strategy with the Head of Marketing and Communications and PR agency partners, including media opportunities, announcements, reactive comms, and executive visibility.
Lead and support internal communications for company-wide announcements, leadership updates, organizational changes, employee programs, facilities updates, milestones, and other employee experiences.
Partner with People Operations, Facilities, Safety, Security, Legal, business leaders, and executives to ensure timely, clear, coordinated, and credible information.
Support social media, owned content, events, tradeshows, facility openings, and broader marketing activities as a lean, fast-moving team member.
Travel to support tradeshows, events, media engagements, executive speaking opportunities, customer engagements, and other priorities, including hands-on booth support.
Support crisis and issues communications planning and execution with holding statements, employee messages, FAQs, reactive statements, and leadership messaging during sensitive situations.
