Job Summary
Own crisis, media relations, and corporate storytelling for a regional housing association, turning communications into trusted guidance for teams and a measurable campaigns engine.
- Strategic Communications: Shape creative strategies and steer crisis responses for broad audiences.
- Content & Campaign Ownership: Plan, produce, and measure newsletters, magazines, events, and town halls with clear engagement goals.
- Internal & External Reach: Optimize intranet content and external PR to boost stakeholder trust and visibility.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Acting as a trusted advisor to teams, shaping effective and creative communication strategies
- Supporting crisis communications and acting as the second point of contact for media enquiries
- Telling NCHA’s stories to our audiences and and managing PR activity
- Leading the planning and production of key corporate communications and events (newsletters, magazines, conferences and Town Hall calls)
- Overseeing and improving intranet content through regular audits and performance insights, ensuring strong user engagement
- Planning and delivering impactful, measurable communication campaigns
Requirements
- Significant experience in a communications or public relations role
- A proven track record of delivering creative, successful campaigns
- Strong digital content management skills (intranet, newsletters, survey tools)
- Experience delivering a range of events
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Strong written, verbal and analytical communication skills
