Position Summary The Communications Coordinator is responsible for implementation and support of internal communication strategies utilizing the corporate intranet as a central communications hub. This position coordinates intranet content creation, governance, and user experience and partners with Technology and Human Resources to facilitate intranet functionality that aligns with employee needs. The Communications Coordinator reports to the Manager, Communications and provides excellent service and support to team members and customers while demonstrating the Company’s values and supporting the mission. Position Duties And Responsibilities Implement and support internal communication strategies utilizing the corporate intranet as a central communications hub for announcements, newsletters, policy updates, etc. Create and publish intranet content that is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand voice Partner with business units to develop and communicate informative and engaging content Partner with Technology and Human Resources to facilitate intranet functionality that aligns with employee needs Maintain editorial calendar and publish regular updates, news, and leadership messages Analyze and interpret intranet utilization metrics and recommend initiatives to optimize engagement Support crisis communications and change management initiatives as needed Responsible for the department’s electronic collaboration and communication systems (i.e. SharePoint, Company Intranet, etc.) Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional associations Attend training as requested Adhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program Participate in outside community activities as required Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media communications, or related field 2 years of experience in internal communications or corporate communications preferred Proficient with managing intranet platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Simpplr, Staffbase) Proficient with CMS platforms and basic HTML/CSS preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard software applications Strong writing, editing, and project management skills Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while accomplishing daily tasks Effective verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact in a helpful and professional manner Critical thinking and problem-solving skills High standards for integrity, honesty, professionalism, and work ethic Commitment to service excellence Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent organization and follow through Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload Ability and willingness to work with purpose and a strong sense of urgency Self-motivated, positive, and enthusiastic Self-starter with a strong desire to exceed expectations Maintain confidentiality discretion Ability to interact with customers and employees in a friendly and professional manner Ability to effectively work in collaboration with others to achieve business objectives Participation in community events working extended hours as needed Willing to grow and be challenged Comprehensive Benefits & Recognition We believe success should be acknowledged and celebrated.
