Unique opportunity to join a passionate not-for-profit clinical team for one of Maine’s most comprehensive behavioral healthcare organizations. We are looking for the right individual to support Sweetser’s mission and vision as a community-based clinician. Our ideal candidate will have all required qualifications, along with strength of character, compassion and a sense of humor. Reimbursement for clinical licensure, exams and renewals! Community-based Clinicians provide individual, family and/or group therapy to children, adolescents and families in the setting that is most comfortable for the unique needs of each family, which could include their home or another community setting. As a Community-based Clinician, you will work full time providing comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy to individuals or families within the greater Bangor, Old Town and Brewer area. You will also act as a liaison between program and family, participate in program development and maintain clinical records. SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday with occasional late afternoon and/or evening hours required LOCATION: Belfast EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in either Social Work, Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy with a concentration in clinical practice from an accredited graduate school. Independent licensure preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Appropriate licensing certificate (Independently licensed LCSW) Valid Driver’s License. EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated competence in discipline Persons with lived experience in the Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse system are encouraged to apply.
