Responsibilities

• Set up and present Japanese food samples at designated retail or event locations with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Engage customers by sharing detailed information about the products, ingredients, and cultural significance of Japanese cuisine
• Collect customer feedback and data to help improve sampling strategies and product offerings
• Conduct product demonstrations that highlight unique features and flavors of each item to attract interest and drive sales
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors

Preferred

• Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to public speak confidently in front of groups
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to connect with diverse customer bases effectively
• Ability to collect and analyze data related to customer preferences and engagement
• Passion for Japanese culture, cuisine, and branding to authentically represent the products
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that motivates others and builds rapport
