Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and publish posts, web pages, and multimedia content (videos, podcasts, and more) using WordPress content management system (CMS)
  • Maintain and update content on curated webpages
  • Research, source, gather and prepare media assets for upload to the CMS
  • Plan, build and send email newsletters
  • Write and edit copy for email newsletters and other editorial content
  • Work closely with writers and other content providers to help guide the creative presentation of editorial content, and contribute to content strategy initiatives
  • You will be an important contributing team member responsible for ongoing content management and production for three of the University's high-visibility, award-winning editorial websites: BU Today, Bostonia, and The Brink
  • You will work alongside the Production Manager, Web Content Producer, and a creative team of publication editors, designers, and content providers across External Affairs to build and publish posts, web pages, and multimedia content
