Job Description
Responsibilities
- Create and drive messaging for the AWS worldwide SLG/EDU business, including our value proposition, customer promises, and reasons to believe that we'll highlight across GTM and marketing activities
- Shape our GTM strategy for SLG/EDU, partnering with sales, GTM, and product management teams to develop ideal customer profiles, priority use cases, and differentiators for products focused on state/local governments and education; defining best practice architecture and services for each use case
- Analyze and synthesize market data from multiple sources (including direct customer feedback) to shape portfolio strategy for AWS offerings, identify new product opportunities, and accelerate adoption of existing AWS offerings
- Lead product launch plan and execution for new offerings focused on government and education, including naming, target audience definition, and marketing vehicles
- Develop technical content including customer stories, keynotes, presentations, demonstrations, and reference architectures that educate public sector customers on AWS offerings
- Represent AWS as a technical evangelist in executive briefings, industry events, and analyst interactions
- Drive field enablement strategies to support product launches, campaigns, and customer success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 6+ years of direct experience working in federal government, defense, education, or healthcare institutions
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with cloud architectures in technical domains (e.g., Analytics, Developer Tools, Compute, Databases, Generative AI)
- Demonstrated experience creating technical content and delivering technical presentations to diverse audiences
Preferred
- MBA, or Master's degree
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies for technical products
- Track record of creating compelling technical demonstrations and reference architectures
- Strong data analysis skills with ability to synthesize insights from multiple source
- Experience presenting to executive-level audiences and industry analysts
