Job Summary

Own and execute media content for the Northern Texas PGA and its foundations, managing photo, video, and real-time social coverage across NTPGA events and tournaments.

Lead photography, video production, and social media promotion for NTPGA and its programs
Coordinate content calendars, interviews, and media releases across channels

Job Description

Responsibilities

Cover NTPGA, NTPGA Foundation and NTPGA Junior Tour events through photography and posting real-time content
Produce, capture and edit engaging content that highlights the NTPGA, NTPGA Foundation, and NTPGA Junior Tour
Manage and promote the NTPGA, NTPGA Foundation, and NTPGA Junior Tour social media outlets, including Facebook, Flickr, Instagram, X, and YouTube
Creating and editing recap videos after tournaments and events
Filming, creating and editing content for NTPGA social media accounts
Assist in maintaining and executing the social media content calendar
Maintain the NTPGA brand voice in all written materials
Communicate with and interview juniors, parents, and PGA professionals
Compose media release
Assist with the management of the NTPGA's websites

Requirements

Knowledge of Apple computers and operating system
Knowledge of Google Suite
Experience with drafting and publishing a press release
Experience with Adobe Creative, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and Lightroom (Premiere Pro and After Effects are a plus)
Experience with photography: Mirrorless and/or DSLR cameras
Videography experience
Experience with social media management
Knowledge of lighting
Enjoy working with people, including children and young adults ages 3-19
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The Northern Texas PGA is one of 41 Sections of the PGA of America. Over 1,000 PGA of America Golf Professionals employed at more than 300 facilities comprise this Section. Its geographic territory includes the State of Texas north of the 31st latitude, or just north of Austin. The Northern Texas PGA headquarters are located on the PGA Frisco campus and feature picturesque office space, a growth of the game pavilion and a golf park designed for junior golfers and families. The Northern Texas PGA staff’s mission is to serve PGA of America golf professionals and grow the game by managing the day-to-day affairs of the Section. The Northern Texas PGA also operates the Northern Texas PGA Foundation and The Ronny Golf Park.
